Horseshoe casino hammond hotel

The cool thing is its right off the pool which is the hotels' main attraction. The gym was okay and no one was using it, it does need a modernization. My bathroom was spotless and very clean so that's a plus. There were some chips and dents in the furniture, the carpet looked old and the room itself was a little dreary. The room itself was nothing special, it had a lingering musty smell, the AC/Heat unit was a little noisy. Check-in was seamless and the staff were very nice. I checked in quite easily to this massive property and got the King Room I had reserved. From the perspective of location, it's nicely situated in a secure compound with lots of parking. It s also two minutes away from a Starbucks, JJ Fish and Chicken and across the road from Walmart and Cabellas'. First off this hotel is a little off the beaten path, tucked away in a little alcove off the highway but tucked away in a secure location so one star for that. The reviews seemed to be pretty good for this hotel as well. Most of the hotels in the area were extremely high.( conventions? Dunes? ) that night. One of the reasons I choose this hotel was the price. I chose the hotel since I have stayed in most of the hotels in the area such as the three Marriott properties down the road, the all-new Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton since its right next door to the Byway Brewery. I stopped in this Choice Hotels property while in the area for business.
